The Killers are a Las Vegas-based four-piece who formed in 2003, featuring the talents of singer/keyboardist Brandon Flowers, drummer Ronnie Vannucci, guitarist Dave Keuning and bassist Mark Stoermer. The band has received countless accolades for their artistic achievement, including multiple Grammy nominations, American Music Award nominations, MTV Video Music Awards, NME Awards and more. Their first album, Hot Fuss, was released in 2004 to worldwide acclaim.
The album contained the singles “Mr. Brightside” and “Somebody Told Me,” in addition to the anthemic song “All These Things That I’ve Done,” which has since been referenced by the likes of U2. The band toured for two years straight behind Hot Fuss, playing more than four-hundred shows, and eventually returned to Vegas to begin to work on the follow-up album with legendary producers Alan Moulder and Flood. The result, a love letter of sorts to their hometown entitled Sam’s Town, was released in 2006 and spent forty-two weeks on the Billboard Top 200. A b-sides collection entitled Sawdust was released in 2007, followed by their third studio album, Day & Age, which was released to widespread critical praise in 2008, anchored by massive single “Human.”
The Killers released Battle Born in September 2012, which saw them expanding their world tour into countries they’ve never visited before, and finally were honored to perform at the world-renowned Wembley Stadium, one of the most monumental and significant shows of their career. After a decade of making music, in November 2013, The Killers released a “Best Of” collection, Direct Hits, which featured two incredible new songs alongside classics from the band’s revered catalogue. The band, who have sold over twenty-five million albums worldwide, and headlined all of the world’s top festivals (Coachella, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury), released their chart-topping album, Wonderful Wonderful, in September 2017. It garnered the band their first No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart the week of its release in the U.S., as well as topping the charts in the U.K., Mexico, and Australia.
In 2020, The Killers released their highly-anticipated new studio album, Imploding The Mirage. Hailed by critics as one of the best records in the band’s already stellar catalogue, the album was the band’s sixth consecutive number one in the U.K., and Brandon Flowers’ eighth U.K. number one overall, making the band the first international act to receive six consecutive #1’s in the United Kingdom. Imploding The Mirage also went Top 10 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart, making it their sixth Top Ten album in America, and gave the band their second consecutive #1 in Australia; their fifth #1 in Ireland; a Top Five album in Austria, Belgium, Mexico, and New Zealand; and a Top Ten album in Canada and Germany.

Charli XCX is a singer, songwriter and multi-faceted creative with an entrepreneurial spirit that has seen her create her own lane as a modern day pop artist. Her work has influenced wider popular culture and the music industry to set a new example in artistic output. Charli won the Variety Hitmakers award for ‘Innovator of Pop’ and was Mercury Prize ‘Album of the Year’ shortlisted for the release of her album ‘how I’m feeling now’ which she created from scratch in five weeks from home during the COVID-19 lockdown last year.
On stage, rapper Denzel Curry can conjure the energy of a stage-diving punk singer, but as he’s matured as an artist, he’s lept into sonic versatility and an indomitable drive to be as unpredictable as possible. It’s a delicate balancing act, but the artist born in Carol City, Florida, in 1995 has diversified his delivery and style with each subsequent effort since his first mixtape, King Remembered Underground Tape 1991–1995, in 2011. “I found a way to be crazy and stable at the same time,” Curry told Apple Music about those early days, both solo and as a novice member of the seminal South Florida group, Raider Klan. Though the group disbanded in 2013, Curry is still indebted to the role elders like SpaceGhostPurrp played in his development. “Raider Klan had to exist. In that short period of time, we had a huge impact on the next generation. We see it every day,” Curry added. After the breakup, Curry began making noise on the internet with elevated raps and a penchant for inimitable flow patterns. His breakthrough album, 2016’s Imperial, included “Ult,” which introduced a wider audience to Curry’s trademark military-style drumming. He expanded upon his percussive delivery on albums like TA13OO and ZUU, both from 2019, which showcased his versatile songwriting and ability to move from classic-era, head-nodding beats to synth-heavy jams highlighted by his nimble singing voice. Once married to a particular way of approaching rap, Curry has since emerged as the genre’s hardest-working chameleon.

OF MONSTERS AND MEN went from the talk of Iceland to the top of the global conversation on their 2011 debut, My Head Is An Animal. Not only did the record go platinum, but it also produced an international smash in the form of “Little Talks.” The breakthrough single earned a quintuple-platinum certification from the RIAA, made history as “the first song by an Icelandic band to cross 1 billion streams on Spotify,” and landed the band a performance on Saturday Night Live. Tash Sultana, the gender fluid multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, producer and engineer, has been dubbed one of the hardest working music exports in Australia. From a viral bedroom recording of ‘Jungle’ and street-stopping busking performances in Melbourne, to setting attendance records on non-stop, sold out global tours, Tash’s accolades rush in faster than there is time to count them.
Tash’s second album Terra Firma arrives four years after ARIA-winning #2 debut album Flow State – which spawned the 2x Platinum single ‘Jungle’ and the Platinum-selling single ‘Mystik’. Written and recorded over a full year, Terra Firma saw Tash in full flight as they recorded, engineered, performed, arranged, and produced the album themselves.

In December 2014 he signed an exclusive recording agreement with XL Recordings, releasing his stunning debut album, 99.9% in May 2016. Mercury nominated, British producer duo, Jungle, return in 2021 with a brand new album ‘Loving In Stereo’ on August 13th.
2021 heralds a new era for Jungle – the duo spent the past year locked in a studio and have emerged, delivering a dance-floor record for the summer and beyond, with a life-affirming celebration of all the things that make music joyful.
It is also the first time Jungle have worked with other vocalists, Tamil-Swiss Priya Ragu and US rapper Bas both feature on the new album.

Transforming from a mild-mannered man by day into an unrestrained beast in the studio, Masked Wolf (aka, Harry Michael) has unassumingly established himself as a powerful, passionate, and primal hip-hop force. After graduating from school, the Sydney, Australia native tirelessly worked in sales to fund recording. He even took out a loan to build a home studio as he cut hundreds of songs and logged thousands of hours in the lab. In 2018, he dropped his independent debut “Speed Racer.” It gathered millions of streams and turned heads across Australia. Following “Night Rider” and “Water Walkin,” he unveiled “Astronaut in the Ocean.” Awash in airy guitar, jagged 808s, neon keys, and deft wordplay, he submerged himself in honest lyricism, facing depression head-on. That one-two-punch of a recognizable riff and chantable chorus organically caught fire online. It quickly incited 350,000-plus Tik Tok videos, spanning everything from footage of U.S. military Blackhawk chopper crews to welders and ice fisherman (far from your typical Tik Tok fare!). Shylo Batchelor Ashby Milwood (born 20 March 1996) known professionally as Russ Millions, is a British rapper and songwriter. In December 2018 he released his single “Gun Lean” on Virgin Records. The track peaked at number 9 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming the first UK drill track to reach the top 10.
The dance that Russ performs in the music video became a “dance craze” and was mimicked by footballers including Jesse Lingard. It was ranked by The Guardian at number 10 on their list of “greatest pop music dance crazes”.
In April 2019 his follow-up single “Keisha & Becky” with Tion Wayne entered the UK Singles Chart at number 19, and later peaked at number seven. The song later became BPI platinum-certified.
Russ Millions and Tion Wayne released “Body” through GDS and Atlantic Records (Warner) on 25 March 2021. The song was produced by Gotcha and promoted with a TikTok dance challenge, as well as a remix released in April 2021 featuring Bugzy Malone, Fivio Foreign, Darkoo, Buni, ArrDee, E1 and ZT. “Body” reached number four on the UK Singles Chart.
The track was named one of the “14 Songs that Give Us Hope for the Future” by the staff of Vice magazine, with writer Ryan Bassil commenting that another collaboration between the pair was “always going to be good” after “Keisha & Becky”. Bassil also called the track a “400-degree rap collab” with “several petrol stations’ worth of gasoline-soaked bars”.
Beginning with their first LP, the RIAA gold certified Everything All The Time, Band of Horses have positioned themselves as a mainstay for more than a decade with 5 studio albums in total, including Grammy nominated Infinite Arms, Mirage Rock, and most recently, Why Are You Ok? executive produced by the illustrious Rick Rubin.
Formed and led by singer and songwriter Ben Bridwell, the South Carolina based band have given us a multitude of much loved singles, including “The Funeral” and “No One’s Gonna Love You”, and have played globe spanning headline tours as well as shows with greats like Pearl Jam and Neil Young.
The band’s sixth LP is due out this year, produced in large part by Bridwell himself, and in anticipation of its release, the band are playing several US festivals including ACL Festival, Firefly and Lollapalooza.

The house is exactly what you’d expect: practically a studio apartment except it stands on its own, draped in honeysuckle and Dutchman’s pipe; a yard of dune sedge and stone. Her dog is buried in the garden along the eastern wall; sometimes, she wonders if the ground will bloom half-a-dozen of him under a certain kind of moon. In the morning the light creeps sideways through the windows and lights her up from the chest down, her head nestled in the shadow. Sometimes she finds herself playing guitar before she has left sleep. Her hands strum but her mind is still dreaming. (It’s her birthday, she’s at the movies, the screen is a tidal wave, someone touches her leg, she wakes up with her fingers tangled in the strings and the kettle whistling.)
The house is haunted. It should go without saying, but it should be said anyway. The house is haunted, but no one knows anything about the ghost or how it messes with you, except for the fact that every time she goes away (to Texas, to Memphis, to Graceland, to Germany) she always ends up coming home again. It’s the strangest kind of haunting. Everyone calls it, the house, the House of Punishment—more than one mistaken citizen has turned up looking for a similarly-named erotic dungeon on the other side of town—but the name is misleading. It is not a house where someone was punished, or a house where someone might be punished, but a house that replaces punishment; instead of feeling guilt or regret you must play quietly in any corner, and eventually the emotion will resolve itself.
Inside, every door frame is notched: the respective growths of former tenants, friends. On one of them, a place where—deep in her cups—she’d measured her height as a full five inches taller than normal; only the next morning did she realize, cotton-mouthed, that she’d been standing on her toes when she’d slid the pencil over the apex of her skull. There had been a Murphy bed once, she was certain, and sometimes when she was very, very tired she would imagine her bed, which was not a Murphy bed, snapping her up into the wall. Next to her bed, in her nightstand drawer, lived the following things: crumpled receipts, red yarn, eight dollars, a white lighter, two undeveloped film cameras, Grether’s Pastilles in their old-timey tin, fistfuls of birthday cards with the shimmer worn off, a pocket-sized copy of the constitution, a pocket knife, a pair of swimming goggles, a pair of recording headphones, shoelaces twisted into a Gordian knot, an unpaid parking ticket, a strip of Peanuts Halloween stickers, an MRI request form from when she sprained her finger, colloidal silver (someone told her it would cure her cold; someone else told her it would give her Argyria), a map of Kyoto (she’d gotten bored at the temple), incense, her first fan letter (she promised herself she’d respond; she never did), a bunch of bolts, a plastic doll’s hand, doggie bags (he’d died over a year ago), an unopened Replacements cassette, an unopened 23 & Me kit, an unopened fortune cookie, unopened pepper spray she doesn’t trust herself to take out of the packaging. In a fake book on her desk—pleather-bound and conspicuously absent a title—she collects her used boarding passes, old concert tickets, disconnected wristbands. It doesn’t escape her notice that she can’t throw anything away, that objects remain unopened, unresolved, untangled, unconsumed. She is always in the middle. She is never at the end of anything.
She lives near a hospital. All night, she hears sirens, imagines the people being transported to and fro, their bodies speeding along in the back of ambulances and their spirit trying to catch up. She makes jokes. “If I wake up, someone better be dying,” she says, until one night she wakes up and feels it: someone’s essence slipping past her on the way to somewhere else. After that, she thinks about the hospital as a metaphor, and considers the many ailments the metaphorical hospital could cure, the many symptoms it could treat: Imposter syndrome. Cabin fever. Foot-in-mouth disease. Word vomit.
She invites her friends—that is to say, her family—over for dinner. She has this one friend whose dad was really obsessed with blood—blood as in family, not the interesting kind of blood—and how it was thicker than water (ew), and then one day her friend looked up the actual expression and it was, The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb. Shit, right? Anyway, she makes a green bean casserole, which is demolished in short order, and hot rolls. Someone kills a pint of ice cream she’s been saving. Someone else drinks a beer so hard it sputters, erupts. Someone else sits in the corner playing cat’s cradle, waiting to feel the guilt lift from their sternum.
After that, the coven of her covenant goes out beneath the new moon; they journal and play Bright Eyes and Britney Spears and act out María Irene Fornés’ plays and eat peaches. They lie on the grass and the stone and talk about the skies they were born under. They don’t believe, really, that it makes a difference, but it’s nice to think about. After all, everyone knows the world is ending. They’ve been told as much, and they can see it in the streets, and they know the world is irreparably fucked, but most importantly they feel it among themselves; they know this goodness cannot last forever.
She sits near them. They are together but at the same time they are alone, as we all are. Someone has put a braid into her hair; she’s left toothmarks on someone else. Something moves through the empty house, less the ghost than the breath of the ghost. She tells her friends: “I’m not afraid to disappear.” Someone laughs. Then, someone else opens their mouth, and something else climbs out.

With Mercury and Mobo nominations, Ivor Novello and NME Awards, a critically garlanded music career and a starring role in Top Boy, one of the most talked about Netflix reboots under her belt, Little Simz has undoubtedly had a meteoric few years, coming a long way from her start handing out mixtapes in the school playground. There’s no question she was always poised for success though; she has always been an artist – wildly ambitious, fiercely talented and devoted to her work – for as long as she can remember. But it wasn’t until she started marking her new album, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert, on the verge of her twenty-sixth birthday, that she realised the toll that success was taking on her personal life. “I decided to go out to LA and do some sessions. I wanted to open a fresh notebook and analyse this part of my life; I didn’t find the writing experience easy, I went to depths that are really uncomfortable” she admits. “I pushed my pen, I really challenged myself”.
The result is her most cathartic and ambitious record yet, a coruscating journey into the heart of what it means to be alive in these tumultuous times, and one which looks set to neatly cement her position as one of the most potent and vital young talents around today.
Screaming into the public conscience with the release of their highly acclaimed LP, Gold accredited Hungry Ghost, Violent Soho quickly became a favourite of music fans everywhere, playing to huge crowds at festivals across Australia as well as numerous sold out headline tours.
The band’s 2016 follow up LP WACO came soon after, debuting at #1 on the ARIA album charts and garnering another Gold certification. The band kept a breakneck pace on the live front, including stand out performances at Laneway Festival, Mountain Sounds, Splendour in the Grass as well as their own album tour. This culminated in the biggest shows of the band’s career and winning two ARIA Awards (Best Group & Best Rock) as well as performing at the 2016 ARIA Awards ceremony.
Now a revered live act and standing as one of Australia’s biggest bands, Violent Soho released their fifth LP, Everything is A-OK, with more than a touch of irony in April last year. Again, debuting at #1 on the ARIA chart, the record saw the band nominated for four ARIA Awards including Best Rock Album.
The record is Violent Soho at their most honest and self-confident. The title saying everything that needs to be said, after all this time and everything they’ve been through, Violent Soho are still just four blokes from Queensland who want to shred riffs, play shows and make the music they love.
The trajectory of Austin-based band Black Pumas has seen a phenomenal rise since the duo formed in 2017. Grammy-winning producer and guitarist Adrian Quesada was introduced to Eric Burton, a powerhouse songwriter and street performer, by a mutual friend. Norwegian artist AURORA’s star shines as bright as the astronomical phenomenon for which she is named. Her first three studio albums focused in on issues like global capitalism, the environmental crisis and what it means to be a human amid it all. In stark, angular pop she debated with herself, urged us to stand up for ourselves and each other, and gave us mantras to chant like “You cannot eat money”.

millennium parade is a creative collective, which is is an energetic and inspiring group, composed of artists from various creative fields including musicians, a film director, visual effects artist, designer, illustrator and so on. It’s organized by Daiki Tsuneta, a producer and songwriter based in Tokyo, Japan.
Their concept is inspired by “Hyakki Yakō” – “The Night Parade of One Hundred Demons”, deriving from centuries old Japanese folklore. The ‘night parade’ saw supernatural creatures roam the streets causing utter pandemonium throughout Japan. This chaos and mystery underlies the group’s collective vision to present Tokyo’s new values to the rest of the world.
Their song ‘Fly with me’, was the main theme song for world famous Japanese animation ‘Ghost In The Shell: SAC_2045’ and it was remixed by the renowned Steve Aoki. Despite being a relatively new and curiously mysterious group, they have already collaborated with DIOR and most recently adidas, for whom Tsuneta was recently named a GlobalAmbassador.

Pink Sweat$ is an artist/songwriter/producer from Philadelphia, PA. Pink’s music is rooted in R&B and Soul, stripping back the typical genre-specific production to showcase melodic intricacy and lyrical prowess. He began making music at the age of 19 as a demo vocalist, and soon after found himself working at the legendary Sigma Sounds Studios where he began his career as a songwriter. King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard’s sense of unfettered sonic exploration makes it easy to mistake them for a long-forgotten relic of the psych explosion of the ’60s. With a far-out sound that, at times, feels barely held together, King Gizzard evoke the eclectic rock experimentation of Frank Zappa’s early work with the Mothers of Invention, the anything-goes feeling of the Flaming Lips, and the demented glee of a random, obscure ’60s group plucked from a Pebbles compilation as they follow their musical flights of fancy wherever they might lead. King Gizzard’s prolific nature led them to release albums at a frenetic pace, and their intense desire to seek out new sounds and follow new paths — from expansive jazz-rock (2015’s Quarters) to semi-acoustic ballads (the same year’s Paper Mâché Dream Balloon), and from sci-fi prog (2017’s Murder of the Universe) to trippy garage rock (2014’s I’m in Your Mind Fuzz) — meant that every one of their multitude of releases sounded different from the last, and each one was worth checking out. Sinéad Harnett’s sophomore album Ready Is Always Too Late dropped May 2021 and is a reintroduction to Sinéad Harnett, the rising R&B icon we truly deserve. Her narrative has been a slow and steady progression of coming from nothing to someone whose name you’ll never forget. In less than a year, Holly Humberstone has become the most hotly-tipped artist and recently named in the prestigious BBC Sound of 2021 longlist. The 20-year-old singer-songwriter’s accolades are far reaching for an artist so young. From being chosen as Apple’s Up Next Artist following in the footsteps of Billie Eilish and BENEE, to performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and being one of VEVO DSCVR’s Artists To Watch 2021, the Grantham based artist’s rise is unstoppable. Holly’s critically acclaimed debut EP Falling Asleep at the Wheel has already amassed over 50 million streams and started life within the poetry books she was raised on, and later developed her signature sound and incredible storytelling.
Holly recently starred in ‘On The Run’, a 15-minute film which documents the story of her first body of work. Formed in their mate’s shed on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast at age seventeen, The Chats represent everything that’s good about Australia: a rebel spirit, gallows humour and the endless hedonistic pursuit of A Bloody Good Time.
Don’t be mislead by The Chats dress-down image of mullets, shorts, sports tops, a sandals-and-socks combo and cheap sunnies. They are sharper than you think, and they write killer songs that hold their own in any era. When 2017 single ‘Smoko’ became a bona fide viral hit on Youtube, The Chats were propelled from their Queensland shed to almost overnight renown in all the right circles. Dave Grohl loved it so much he sent it to Josh Homme, who immediately booked the band to support Queens Of The Stone Age in Australia. Iggy Pop did the same when he played Melbourne.
In 2018, The Chats brought their ‘shed rock’ to the UK, where all shows sold out within a day and were immediately upgraded, including a memorable show at the Electric Ballroom, London, where they were joined onstage by Charlie Steen from Shame. Not bad considering the teenagers had never left Australia before.

The gold-selling Netherlands-born Australia-based Iraqi-Syrian songstress relies on a keen sense of observation and sharp pen as she catalogs the world in real-time on her 2020 debut for Atlantic Records. Having kicked off her career with her 2014 debut single “Let Me Love You” and 2015 debut EP, XXIX, Wafia broke onto the mainstream with Louis The Child’s RIAA gold-certified smash, “Better Not” with subsequent praise from W, Idolator, Ladygunn, NPR, Wonderland, i-D, and more. Sydney supergroup Triple One released their #1 ARIA Hip-Hop debut album, Panic Force, in 2020. Cat & Calmell have a rich history of performing together. Cat spent her childhood in China and moved to Sydney as a young teenager. Calmell was born and raised in Western Sydney. King Stingray are a five piece from Yirrkala, North-East Arnhem Land. Formed by Yirrŋa Yunupiŋu (nephew of the late Dr M Yunupiŋu – Yothu Yindi frontman) and Roy Kellaway (son of Stu Kellaway – Yothu Yindi founding member and bass player), King Stingray blend ancient indigenous melodies with surf, indie and funk influences to create a genre of their own, Yolŋu surf-rock.
King Stingray is a story of lifelong friendship, of two cultures coming together. From toddlers in the Yothu Yindi tour entourage in the 90s, to fully fledged Yothu Yindi members today, Yirrŋa (current lead singer of Yothu Yindi) and Roy (current guitarist of Yothu Yindi and Emily Wurramara) have been playing and making music together for as long as they can remember. King Stingray seamlessly blends Yirrŋa’s timeless Yolŋu manikay vocals with Roy’s indie pop credentials (Mary Handsome, Django George).
Young multi-instrumentalist Dimathaya Burarrwanga joins the King Stingray line-up on drums and percussion, with Campbell Messer taking care of bass and back up vocals.

Following the release of Bigger Than Me / Readymade (Duology One) in March, Melbourne singer-songwriter Gretta Ray unveils the second double A-side single to be lifted from her debut album, Human / Passion (Duology Two). This is the second pairing of songs in her Duology series: songs drawn from the same thematic heart to find their own unique places in her expanding catalogue of deeply felt, lushly produced pop.
“Human and Passion are both very much songs about an intimate relationship,” Gretta says. “It’s been so interesting to write about this concept, one that I’ve unpacked in every possible way since I was much younger, and to feel as though my feelings surrounding it have grown up with me over the past few years.”
